For those not familiar with CES, it is the world’s largest consumer technology trade-show. It features all that is new and improved in the electronics world, and is represented by large and small companies alike that would like to have the world get a look at new and improved product lines and innovations.

Earlier this month the 2011 International CES was held in Las Vegas from January 6-9 and I thought it appropriate to mention the Honorees for Innovations in technology for 2011. Although a lot of focus was on cell phone technology, there were all kinds of goodies to look at, what I was curious about was innovation in old technology and will focus on that in this article.
