No Zelda Or Kid Icarus For Nintendo 3DS Launch

For all you Nintendo fans out there who were planning on buying Kid Icarus or the Nintendo 64 remake; Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D on launch day for the Nintendo 3DS I’ve got some bad news for you.

Neither of them will be out before E3. That’s right, both Kid Icarus and Zelda: Ocarina of Time will miss the Nintendo 3DS launch.

Nintendo of America boss Reggie Fils-Aime confirmed both delays during a recent interview with MTV…

“They’ll be ready soon, but not in that initial time period of late March through early June. In terms of what the hardcore gamer has to look forward to right at launch, I would say: Super Street Fighter IV 3D, Dead or Alive: Dimensions, Madden, and the three first-party launch games we have as well.”

He did promise however that between 25 and 30 video games will be available for the launch of the eagerly anticipated 3DS, most notable of which (as far as I am concerned anyway) is the new Pilot Wings game; Pilot Wings Resort.
