Capcom Tease Two New “Large Scale” Games For 2011
In an interview with Japanese video game magazine Famitsu, Capcom’s new development boss Jun Takeuchi revealed that the giant video game publisher will release two “large scale” games in 2011.
According to the article, the two games that Capcom have up their sleeves will be a big surprise.
Takeuchi then talked about Capcom’s 3DS launch-title Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition and claimed that the game used approximately 85% of the 3DS’s total processing power…
“In most cases, launch titles until now have used around 50 per cent of the capabilities of the system. This time, we’re suddenly using up 80 to 90 per cent.” The graphics are so good, they will make you ask, “What is the difference between a portable game machine and a console!?”
Various video game forums are buzzing with speculation over what those two new “large scale” games will be. My money is on a Dino Crisis reboot…
