Reports are flooding the internet which claim that NBC want director/producer McG to direct the pilot episode of their recently acquired Wonder Woman TV show.

McG has some experience with 70’s TV show adaptations after having directed both Charlie’s Angel’s movies.

According to TV Line, NBC want McG to helm the pilot so badly that the job is his to lose.

It is thought that McG has yet to sit down and discuss the project with NBC execs.

The Wonder Woman TV show is written by David E. Kelley. McG, as a producer, currently has four TV shows that are on air; Chuck, Human Target, Nikita and Supernatural.

He recently directed This Means War, a rom-com which stars The Dark Knight Rises and Inception star Tom Hardy alongside Reese Witherspoon and Star Trek star Chris Pine.

One of his next movie projects is thought to be the board game adaptation; Ouija which has been pitched as a National Treasure type of adventure.
