Nicole Kidman Comments On Best Actress Oscar Nomination

Oscar winning actress Nicole Kidman has revealed to The AP that she is delighted to have been nominated for a Best Actress Oscar for her role in John Cameron Mitchell’s; Rabbit Hole in which she plays Becca, a mother whose child dies in an accident.

Kidman admitted that the role of Becca was an exhausting experience but added that she believes that her nomination rewards all the hard work everybody involved put into the production…

“What an extraordinary journey this film has taken me on! Rabbit Hole has been a labour of love and I’m so thankful to [director] John Cameron Mitchell, [writer] David Lindsay-Abaire and the brilliant cast. This nomination reflects all of the heart and soul that these people have put into it and I can’t thank them enough.”

Kidman won the 2002 Oscar for Best Actress for her role as Virginia Woolf in Stephen Daldry’s The Hours.
