Dead Space 2 creators actually have a pretty good sense of humor when it comes to rewards for game completion as evidenced in completion in hardcore mode. One of the rewards offer up a styrofoam hand from sports memorabilia genre, which in reality is a weapon that can be modified on the work bench. Check it out.

Its good to see that Visceral has a sense of humor as I was in stitches each time I used the Fickled finger of fate to kill something.  The weapon can be modified on the workbench although I have not modified it yet. The workbench was taken from the Fallout series by Bethesda Softworks as nothing is sacred in video game land.

Private companies can lock out all competition for applications in stem cell research, but gaming ideas and applications that make games unique are fair game. Does not make a lot of sense, but thats another thought in another article. I will let you know how the modifications go when I get to a work bench.
