Jim Bowen In Hospital After Suffering A Stroke
Former Bullseye TV present Jim Bowen is recovering in hospital after suffering a stroke on the 18th of February.
Last Friday, Bowen was rushed to the Royal Lancaster Hospital where he is currently staying.
Bowen’s wife, Phyliss said…
“[Jim] is being really well looked after and is getting excellent care, but we are not sure how long he will be in.
He has had physiotherapy and we have high hopes for him. I can’t say how long it will take, as these things do take time.”
Jim Bowen hosted the Bullseye darts quiz show from 1981 to 1995.
Bowen thrust himself back into the public limelight back in 2005 when he appeared at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with his new comedy show; ‘You Can’t Beat A Bit Of Bully’ which was something of a success. Since then he has taken his act on the road again, often playing smaller venues.
