According to the president-elect of The Conservative Association at Oxford University (OUCA), Joe Cooke, Courtney Love told the students…

(Joe was talking to Q magazine)

“She said she wanted to launch a new life as a country squire. Her exact words to me were: ‘I want to find a new husband. She thought we were the best place to find one.”

She led the national anthem standing on the table with a toast to the queen before singing ‘Wonderwall’ with the Union Jack draped over her.”

Love previously stated that she considered herself “half-English”…

“I am an Anglophile and love England so much. I used to live there and always consider myself half English.”

Courtney Love, for the few of you who have been living under a rock for the last 20 years is the lead singer of Hole and the widow of grunge legend; Kurt Cobain.

Interesting factoid. She was, for the briefest of moments, the lead singer for Faith No More when she was 18 but it didn’t work out.
