Dragon Age II Preview
I played the demo last night and found the graphics pretty good. I was a bit worried as this new release is not far behind Origins, but BioWare did a good job with its new release. Origins covered a one year span in time and this new release covers a 10 year span in time. You have the freedom to skip over the boring cut scenes that will not affect overall strategy.
As in Origins you can pause and cast spells, you can only cast one. The demo was pretty short so I cannot give you a lot of details as my experience was limited. Overall the experience of the game so far was better than Origins and although the sequel was quick to release, fans of Origins will not be disappointed in II.
The overall feel of the game has changed quite a bit and interfacing with other characters has improved. No more long lines of verbiage as in Origins and the characters do not appear to be zombie like and expressionless as they were in Origins. March 8,2011 is the scheduled release date. Pre-orders have their rewards so if your planning on picking up Dragon Age II, I would do so. The game will be released on PS3, Xbox, PC and Macintosh.
