Nikita Star Thinks Second Season Is A Go
Melinda Clarke, star of the hit TV show Nikita believes that the shows’ fanbase is strong enough to warrant a second season.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Clarke appeared optimistic about the chances of Nikita getting renewed…
“From what I hear, the buzz is that we’ll be fortunate enough to have another season. I think we’ve got some great fans of there [and] I know internationally people are really excited about it.
We’re on the CW, and of course, that’s a smaller network as far as how many viewers [we get] but we have some pretty intense and loyal fans.”
The season premiere of Nikita drew 3.57 million viewers back in September and has, on only one occasion since then dropped below 2 million viewers.
Clarke continued…
“I think it’s very likely that we’ll be picked up. I mean, anything can happen in this industry, but I think fans will get another season out of it.”
