Ramon Rodriguez, the new star of the upcoming Charlie’s Angel reboot has revealed, in an interview with Assignment X, that the reboot will take the famous franchise in a brand new direction.

Rodriguez will play Bosley in ABC’s new take on the popular 70’s show and believes that the fact that ABC cast a Puerto Rican actor means that the studio are looking at the franchise with fresh eyes…

“The mere fact of them casting me… shows they’re going in a new direction. With respect to everyone else [who went before], this is a whole new take. This is my version of Bosley.”

He also revealed that the new, revamped Bosley will be able to handle himself in fights and also know his way around a computer…

“I’m doing martial arts training,” he confirmed. “Bosley is also a tech savvy guy.”

He then added that growing up with three sisters was the perfect preparation for the role…

“I grew up with three sisters. They watched the original show and they got even more excited [about the reboot] when I got [the part of] Bosley.”

The Charlies Angel pilot goes in front of the cameras in Miami next week
