Eight Legged Freaks star David Arquette, during an appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show, revealed that he once suspected estranged wife Courtney Cox was having an affair with her co-star on the TV show Cougar Town; Brian Van Holt.

Arquette claimed that he became obsessed about tabloid stories which suggested that two unnamed cast-members of Cougar Town were having an affair…

“There were tabloid stories coming out about her and someone on her show having, you know, an affair.

I thought she was having an affair with someone. Nobody would’ve said something like that if she weren’t. I was angry with… the dynamic of our relationship. I was angry with my wife.”

He then shared the moment Cox broke up with him…

“She came down really depressed one day, and was like ‘I’m really just not happy.

I felt really sort of abandoned at that point. A deal is a deal.”
