Piers Morgan Defends Madonna Ban
During an appearance on Conan, CNN talkshow host Piers Morgan defended his decision to ban pop star Madonna from his Piers Morgan Tonight Show.
He defended the decision by simply stating that he finds her annoying….
“She’s just so bloody annoying, isn’t she? I think I’ve got the pulse of the nation [by banning her].”
He then regaled the audience of an awkward run-in he had with Madonna at this past weekend’s Vanity Fair post-Oscars party at the Sunset Tower hotel in Hollywood…
“Bear in mind that when I came out with my Madonna ban, I’d known her like 25 years. Her publicist put out a statement saying, [in a mock American accent] ‘Madonna has never heard of Piers Morgan.
This moment came at the Vanity Fair party where, in Madonna walks wearing clothes befitting a 17-year-old… It was just really awkward. I think she brought Jesus, the 20-year-old boyfriend… Everything was awkward about this moment.
I just caught her eye… Of course she wasn’t able to recognise me because she’s already stated that she doesn’t know who I am. So we had this kind of stand-off where I was going, ‘You’re banned’ and she was looking at me going, ‘I’m pretending not to know who you are’… She’s ghastly.”

I would wager that Madonna would never wish to appear on his crappy show, so i’m sure she is not losing any sleep over it. Neither will I.
Piers Morgan doesn’t have a show that brings back viewers….Why, then, would any sort of SUCCESSFUL artist, actor, or media personality even consider as any kind of option much less spend two craps worth of energy responding to a has been’s ‘uninvited’ guest list.
‘Ghastly’ is the god awful nausea inducing news-less white noise ratings disaster that has Pouty-pants Piers once again doubletime-doggy-paddling on another’SOS-Save My Show-Any Mic Will Do’ media blitz. He’s so shamelessly trying to attach his brand of stupid to anything and anyone with recognition hoping it’ll result in a ratings rebound just as easy and free as the First Class Ticket CNN baited his ass to get here with.
Who cares what you think of Madonna or anyone else? Seriously, just look at yourself. If I had her money, I’d buy ownership of CNN today just for the satisfaction of watching escorted by security as you frog march yuor way back to the hole CNN never should’ve lured you out of.
