Hollywood actress Amanda Seyfried has ruled out any sequels to the 2008 musical movie Mamma Mia!.
Seyfried, who starred alongside Meryl Streep, Julie Walters, Christine Baranski, Piers Brosnan, Colin Firth and Stellan Skarsgard in the Abba themed hit told Marie Clare that the reason there is no chance of there being a sequel to Mamma Mia! Is because there is no room to develop the story, even though she admitted recently that she would love to reprise her role of Sophie.
Seyfried told Marie Claire when asked if there would be a sequel…
“Would it happen? F**k no! That’s never gonna happen. Like, what would they do? What would they write about? How would they get all the actors back?”
The 25 year old Seyfried has some interesting projects on the horizon, in particular Now, a futuristic tale in which humanity has cured aging . It’s directed by Gattaca director Andrew Niccol and sees Seyfried star opposite Olivia Wilde, Cillian Murphy and Justin Timberlake.
