Liz Hurley has confirmed that she has been cast at the main villain in the upcoming Wonder Woman TV pilot.

Via her Twitter account, Hurley tweeted the following tweets…

Thrilled to be doing the NBC pilot Wonder Woman.”

And then…

“I’ll be playing the evil villain. Can’t wait.”

Liz Hurley hasn’t acted in any production since her 2004 movie; Method in which she played an actress who took on the murderous tendencies of her character. It was awful.

This year sees Hurley return with the movie High Midnight which has been directed by one Mary Lambert who is responsible for Mega Python vs. Gatoroid and Pet Semetary 2. So, make of that what you will…

The Wonder Woman TV pilot has been written by David E. Kelley and stars Friday Night Lights star Adrianne Palicki as DC Comics most famous female superhero.

The Wonder Woman TV show is currently under consideration for NBC’s 2011-2012 schedule.
