Mamma Mia! Star Amanda Seyfried has, in an interview with Access Hollywood, revealed that she sees Hollywood A-Lister Leonardo DiCaprio as a young Robert De Niro.

Seyfried stars in the upcoming Red Riding Hood on which Leonardo DiCaprio served as one of the movie’s producers and she revealed that some members of the cast and crew were often starstruck whenever Leo appeared on set…

“When [DiCaprio] came to visit there was a weird tension on set. Everybody was whispering, ‘He’s here! He’s here!’

You know, he’s like a godfather. He’s like De Niro to the younger generation of actors.”

She then revealed that Leo was pivotal in the casting process…

“He was a big part of the casting process, which is good because his input is always wanted. He’s been working for a long time and he makes great choices.”
