Roberta Williams has revealed that she believes her newborn son; Giuseppe, who she had with her partner Rob is actually a sign from her recently deceased husband Carl.

Roberta and Carl, were both the focus of the Australian crime drama Underbelly. Here’s a quick synopsis of the show taken from Wikipedia…

Underbelly is an Australian television true crime-drama which originally broadcast on Nine Network. Each series contains 13 parts and is based on real life events including the Melbourne gangland killings between 1995 to 2004, the Griffith drug trade which happened between 1976 to 1987 and the Kings Cross scene between 1988 to 1999

In an interview with New Idea magazine, Williams said that she believes Carl is watching over her…

“I’m definitely in love. I was convinced this baby was a sign from Carl that he was watching over me because he understood having another baby meant everything to me.

He knew doctors wanted me to have a hysterectomy after my sister died of ovarian cancer, but that I was holding off because I desperately wanted another child with Rob, who’s a great dad to my other kids.

To me, this was his way of saying: “I’m leaving your life, but I’m sending you what you want most so you can begin again and be happy.’”
