Singer Chris Brown has revealed that he believes he has been forgiven for beating up his former girlfriend and fellow singer; Rihanna.
Brown was sentenced to five years probation back in 2009 and had to serve six months of community service for the beating he dished out to Rihanna and now thinks that because his fans are still buying his music, he has been forgiven.
In an interview with Page Six, Brown said…
“A handful of people stuck by me. But when [most] people see certain things happen to somebody, they usually turn away.
They don’t want to get involved with it because they don’t want their name attached to anything negative.”
The 21 year old added that only now, nearly two years removed from the incident, are his fellow artists wanting to work with him again…
“They wanna get on the record. They wanna let me back in the door. The last two years, everybody dissed me, but my fans were so dedicated.
The way I look at it is, you can’t walk around mad, because then you just prove everybody right that you’re an angry person.”
