With the news that Warner Bros has fired Charlie Sheen from the hit sitcom Two and a Half Men, the internet is full of rumours about who is likely, should Warner Bros want to continue the show, to replace the troubled Sheen.

At this moment in time, the front runner is thought to be another faded 80’s movie star Rob Lowe who resurrected his own career a few years back with his role in the critically acclaimed The West Wing.

Anyway, Warner Bros confirmed Sheen’s dismissal with a statement they released on Monday…

“After careful consideration, Warner Bros Television has terminated Charlie Sheen’s services on Two and a Half Men effective immediately,”

While Sheen responded to news of his dismissal with the following rant to TMZ…

“This is very good news. They continue to be in breach, like so many whales. It is a big day of gladness at the Sober Valley Lodge because now I can take all of the bazillions, never have to look at whatshisc**k again and I never have to put on those silly shirts for as long as this warlock exists in the terrestrial dimension.”
