Dido Says Motherhood Has Calmed Her
Pop star Dido has revealed that now that she is about to become a mother, she has a new perspective on life.
Dido is expecting her first child with her husband Rohan and told the Associated Press that whatever her future career ambitions are, her baby will always come first.
She added that the sense of calmness from her impending motherhood has helped her refocus…
“There’s a real calmness about it which I think is really nice. Your decisions are sort of made for you. You just have this priority that is unchangeable and I think that’s a great calmness that comes from that.”
She then talked about her upcoming fourth studio album which will be released later in the year…
“It’s been a thoroughly enjoyable record. It’s a real mix and in a funny sort of way – some sort of big electronic extravaganza. It’s much more electronic than the last record.”
