In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, singer Ne-You admitted that he struggled to comprehend the approach actor Aaron Eckhart took to their movie Battle: Los Angeles.

To prepare for the sci-fi invasion movie, Eckhart took the method approach and the ‘Because of You’ singer said that he struggled to understand the method acting approach and his confusion almost got him into an argument with the Dark Knight star as he didn’t realize that he was still in-character…

He added that Eckhart wouldn’t acknowledge him in-between takes…

“It was a little weird at first. I didn’t understand the concept of staying in character the whole time. We almost got in a little tussle just behind me not understanding that he’s still in character.”

Despite the initial on-set tension, Ne-You praised Eckhart for his professionalism and revealed that he learned a lot from him…

“He’s a fantastic actor. I learned a lot just by watching him.”

Battle: Los Angeles opens today.
