Mr. Popper’s Penguins is an enjoyable movie that showcases Jim Carrey’s comedic genius and shows the world he still can make us laugh. Mr. Popper’s Penguins is supposed to be one of those feel good movies where a father, who gets a bunch of penguins as an inheritance, finds a way to bond his family together. While there are several moments in Mr. Popper’s Penguins that will try to lull you to sleep, Jim Carrey will bring you back from your daydreams with some of his patented antics that make him one of the great comedians of our time. Green Lantern Review: One Wild Choppy Ride Down Comic Book Lane

Green Lantern opened today to lots of anticipation by fans and lots of criticism by critics. I thought this movie was well made and it is a good movie for older kids. First, critics have pounced on the choppy script and dialogue but the movie does remind me of the comics I used to read as a kid. The action was great and the scenes kept my 6 year old interested in the whole movie.
