Friends With Benefits is a delightfully fresh romantic comedy that is saved by the chemistry of the two leading actors. FWB does much of the same plot development we have seen so many times in romantic comedies but the outstanding performance of Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis make this film a “must see”. The plot is simple, two people decide to remain friends with the addition of having sex with each other. FWB explores all the ups and downs associated with having a relationship somewhere in the middle of being friends and lovers. There are plenty of moments in this movie that will make you laugh, cry, and even say to yourself “I have been there”. The story is set in New York where Dylan, played by Timberlake, gets a great job at GQ with the help of Jamie, played by Kunis. These two become friends and decide to keep their relationship friendly even though they start sleeping with each other. Most of us can relate to this story as we have all either had this type of relationship or we have wanted to do it with a friend. Friends With Benefits starts out great but the movie does become quite predictable towards the middle and the end.  One character, Tommy, played by Woody Harrelson, provides some great and entertaining scenes with Timberlake. The movie would have been much better if Harrelson’s character had more screen time. It’s still a worthwhile flick to watch and I give Friends With Benefits a good thumbs up because of the performance of Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake.
