Big Brother 13 Sunday night added a new dimension to the show with a new competition called the “luxury competition”. Instead of the usual “have nots” competition, the house guests got to compete for a chance to view a brand new reality series in the HOH room with David Hasselhoff with plenty of food and drinks for all. The new series is called “Same Name” where famous stars will trade places with regular people who share their name.
The competition starts out with a man coming out who say he has the same name as the star. He is holding a set of opera glasses. Jordan, either lucky or very smart, is the first to run to the DR with her guess of David Hasselhoff. The others are still clueless. The second clue is brought out and it is a microphone. This give no help to the house guests and Porsche is guessing it is the great “Michael Jackson”. I guess someone forgot to tell her he is no longer living. The third clue is a classic Knight in shining armor carrying a lifeguard board. Everyone is still confused here so the final clue is David Hasselhoff standing beside KITT from the Knight Rider series. So only one correct guess allows Jordan to choose 3 people to go to the HOH room to watch the Premiere of “Same Name”.
Jordan chooses Jeff, Kalia, and Shalia and they proceed to the HOH to eat sushi, drink champagne, and mingle with “The Hoff”. This throws Rachel in a tizzy and she goes off on how she should be up there in the HOH room since she is the HOH. Brenden is melting down along with her and all the other houseguests are listening to the fight in the kitchen. Bendon and Rachel have given us some of the best drama this season but their time is probably limited as someone else will step up and nominate one of them for elimination. Now the elimination this week has Adam and Dominic on the block, as put there by Rachel. It will come down to the POV competition. If Rachel wins they will stay, if Dominic can win it things will get really interesting.
