Lionsgate films has just released a new clip of their upcoming film “The Devil’s Double” which chronicles the life of Latif Yahia as he becomes a body double for the notorious Uday Hussein. This film showcases the opulent lifestyle of Hussein and give us a glimpse of what went on in Iraq 1987. It also shows us the struggles of one man as he deals with the lifestyle he is thrown into and how he keeps his sanity. The film stars Dominic Cooper, star of the hit films An Education and Mama Mia, as both Uday Hussein and Latif Yahia. The Devil’s Double is an adaptation of the autobiography of Lahif and describes how one man survived in the corrupt regime of Iraq. Directed by Lee Tamahori, director of such hits as “Die Another Day” and “XXX: State of the Union”, and written by Michael Thomas, of such hits as “Backbeat” and “Scandal”. This is sure to be one thriller that you won’t want to miss. The Devil’s Double is schedule for wide release on Friday, July 29,2011.
