Final Destination 5 is a 3D sequel that proves Hollywood can make movies better as they continue a series and won’t disappoint you. This Horror film could possibly be the best 3D horror film to date. Flames jump out at you, the gore scenes put you right there and you will duck at times thinking you might get hit. this movie is surprisingly funny. Steven Quale makes a great first time effort here as he has found the perfect blend of comedy and horror. FD5 starts out like all the other Final Destination films with someone having a premonition that cheats death. Then the characters all go through torment while death tries to reclaim what is lost. Now the action is great in this film from start to finish. the opening scene where a bridge collapses is terrific. Of course the plot and acting is a secondary feature of this film and is not anywhere near academy award caliber. These films are made to shock you with special effects and Final Destination 5 has plenty of them in 3D. This film is a must see for all FD fans and Horror movie fans alike. Final Destination 5 3D is the best horror film of 2011.
