Glee 3D Concert Movie Review: This Movie Will Have You Up And Singing

glee 3d posterThe Glee 3D Concert Movie is an experience that everyone should see, even if you are not a fan of the show. The Glee cast made a movie of their summer concert tour and the excitement and thrills carry you on a journey that will have you dancing in your seat. This movie is energetic and has lots of great songs from the show. Characters perform in costume and the 3D effects make it feel like you are right there on stage. Now, I am not a big fan of this TV show. I have watched it and was mildly impressed but it was not that special to me. This movie, on the other hand, made me excited. I loved it when the Crews followed fans home to see how the show has really changed peoples’ lives. The “dwarf” cheerleader was my favorite of these as she shows how she got her dream date to the prom from lessons she learned by watching Glee. If this movie inspires people like the show has, it will help people overlook their disabilities and focus on what they can do. I will definitely have to give this show another chance after seeing this movie. It rubbed my “inner geek” in the right way. I would highly recommend this movie for any family that wants to see some high energy entertainment. The Glee 3D Concert Movie is inspiring.

I enjoy Glee but I had no intention of seeing this. I even talked my wife and daughter out of seeing it. From the outside it appeared dumb and unnecessary.

Season two really faded, the theme weeks and the nonsensical story lines really changed the entire tone of the series. It appears they were caught off guard by the success of the first season and didn’t have a plan for the second.

Get it together Ryan Murphy. Remember “Heroes”?
