America’s Got Talent Semi Final Results: 5 Advance Out Of 12

America's Got Talent
America’s Got Talent Semi Finals last night brought 12 acts and 5 were left to advance after America voted for their Favorites to win. The first set to go up and see their fate were Zuma Zuma, Matt Wilhelm, The Sandou Trio Russian Bar, and Team iLuminate. Now all of these teams were very good but in the end, America chose Team iLuminate to advance to the finals. The second group to go on the block were singers Poplyfe and Lys Agnes. This was confusing and would be hard to judge because these two are totally different in type and style of music they perform. Both Poplyfe and Lys Agnes were announced to be advancing. The third set of performers to go up for elimination were Melissa Villasenor, The Miami All Stars, and Kevin Colis. This was another seemingly mismatched group as they are not related at all. In the end, The Miami All Stars were chosen to advance leaving us to wonder how Kevin or Melissa would have fared if they had been in the group before. Melissa is definitely more talented and better the Lys Agnes and we think she would be advancing if it were those two up against each other. Now four positions had been filled and the last three acts are up on the stage waiting to see which one will advance. Beth Ann Robinson, Daniel Joseph Baker, and the West Springfield Dance Team were nervously waiting to see who would go on to compete. After a lot of fanfare it was announced that Beth Ann Robinson was voted out by America. The two final contestants were left to the judges decision to see who would advance. In the end, The West Springfield Dance Team will advance. So the five teams going to the finals in the 2011 season of AGT are the West Springfield Dance Team, The Miami All Stars, Team iLuminate, Lys Agnes, and Poplyfe.
