Kindle Fire Getting Help From DC and Rumors Of Amazon Buying WebOS

Amazon is betting its $199 dollar Kindle Fire will be a hit with consumers who want a cheap tablet and they are getting help from DC Entertainment. In a press release yesterday, DC stated they are making over 100 graphic novels like Watchmen, All Star Superman, and Batman and Son available exclusively to owners of the Kindle Fire (SEE BELOW FOR COMPLETE LIST OF TITLES). X Factor USA had the final audition episode tonight and we saw quite a few good acts but New Jersey gave us something that will make your ears bleed. Clarissa Cheatman came to the stage and butchered “Always Be My Baby” so badly that Simon almost passed out and Paula and Nicole looked like they were gonna hurl. I guess they need to show some of the bad auditions but this girl took the cake and was eating it while she sang. One must wonder why they do this to some contestants. Warner Bros Makes First Facebook Social Series: “Aim High” Will Let You Be On TV!

Warner Brothers Entertainment is embracing the “Social Media” craze by becoming the first studio to produce a social series on Facebook that will allow viewers to interact with a TV show. The new series “Aim High” is a story of about Nick Green, a high school junior by day who is one of our top spies by night. The series features Jackson Rathbone (“Twilight”), Aimee Teegarden (“Friday Night Lights”), and Greg Germann (“Ally McBeal”) and is directed by McG of “Charlie’s Angels” fame. X Factor 9/28 Update: Better Talent This Week In Chicago and Seattle

X Factor Auditions continued this week and they were held in Chicago and Seattle. We saw a lot more “Good” talent this week verses last week’s horrendous affair in Miami. One of the best performers tonight was a 14 year old named Drew Ryniewicz and she sang Justin Bieber’s hit “Baby”. All four judges gave her the “go ahead”. Another stand out was another “boy band” named Four Sure and they gave and outstanding rendition of “End of the Road” by Boys 2 Men. they were my favorites of the night and were told they would move on. Survivor South Pacific 9/28 Update: First Redemption Island Winner Announced

Survivor South Pacific had the first Redemption Island competition tonight where an eliminated contestant gets the chance to return to the game. The Savaii Tribe sent Elyse and Ozzie and the Upolu Tribe sent Coach and Stacey to witness the duel between Semhar and Christine. The duel consisted of and idol placed on top of pole sections. Each contestant had to add sections to the pole and raise the idol in the air. First pole to fall over loses. The duel was close but Semhar loses her idol after the third section so she is eliminated. Christine remains in the game on Redemption Island. Brandon tells the Tribe he is a Hantz family member.
