The Amazing Race started the 19th season tonight with a little drama as one contestant loses their passport in the race to the airport but is saved by fans. Eleven teams started off on Los Angeles with a word puzzle that told them where the first destination would be. Kaylani and her partner Lisa are the last to finish the puzzle and get the first hazard of the season. Moneyball is the most hyped movie opening this week end and promised us a look at the inside dealings of Baseball that it delivered well. Brad Pitt does his best to keep this mediocre story interesting and does an excellent job with what he has to work with. The movie showcases the life of Billy Beane, General Manager of the Oakland A’s, and is adapted from the novel written by Michael Lewis. Jonah Hill provides some memorable moments as Peter Brand.
