Amazing Race 19 got underway tonight with the teams going from Taiwan to Indonesia in “The Sprint of Our Life” and there will be a double elimination. This is the first time in Amazing Race history that two teams will be eliminated in a single episode. Last week’s winning team starts out bad this week as Bill and Cathi are the last to arrive at the Pit Stop. They must take the knots out of a rope before they can move on in a “spped bump”. The first road block has the teams going down into a cave and searching for a Japanese Mask in the dark to find their next clue. Along the way tonight, the teams were supposed to give all their money to an orphanage but most didn’t. Ernie and Cindy were the first team to arrive but had to be turned back because of this. Bill and Cathi also were turned back after catching up nicely from the “speed bump”. Now after the big shuffle of teams goingback to the orphanage, Andy and Tommy win this segment. Next to arrive “officially” is Laurence and Zack with Kaylani and Lisa coming in third. Ernie and Cindy make it back again for 4th place with Liz and Marie right behind them in 5th. Jeremy and Sandy are 6th, followed by Bill and Cathi and then Justin and Jennifer and Amani and Marcus. The Last two teams to cross the finish are Ethan and Jenna along with Ron and Bill and they are out of the race now. Check back next week for another update on Amazing Race 19.
