Season Premier DWTS 13

Dancing With The Stars tonight will let us see superstar mom, Cher, cheering on her son, Chaz Bono, as he dances a Paso Doble to his favorite movie theme song. All the dancers tonight will share a dance around a movie theme that is close to their heart. Can JR Martinez and Ricki Lake stay on top tonight or will someone else take them down a notch? Ricki and JR have been a pleasure to watch this year and we have seen a little controversy with Kristin Cavallari being eliminated last week. Many fans have shown their displeasure with her elimination and we have ABC being accused of rigging the competition to keep certain contestants on the show for ratings. This year has been great for the viewers as there are a lot of great dancers that are showing a lot of improvement. It is still anybody’s game to win. We will be providing updates on each dancer and their score so keep checking back.
Chynna Phillips was a little off tonight and her Tango was not what we have been used to from her. She only gets a 21.

David Arquette came out swinging tonight with his Paso Doble and he was fantastic. He showed lots of energy and poise and the crowd gave him a standing ovation. He gets a 23.
Carson Kressley is up next with a Viennese Waltz to the theme song from Pirates of the Caribbean. This starts out slow as Carson is acting out in a little sword fight scene but once they get into the dance, he is brilliant again. He keeps improving each week. Carrie Ann says it is his most “Butch” performance. He only gets a 20.
Nancy Grace is up next with her Paso Doble to the theme song from the movie “Flash Gordon”. Could Nancy be a nerd? Not many people remember that movie, unless they are a Nerd. Nancy is a little stiff again but her poise is nice. She stumbles at the end when she is going down in front of her partner. Len says she is just not exciting. She gets straight 7′s for a total of 21.
Hope Solo is dancing a Fox Trot this week to “Toy Story”. This isn’t a bad dance but I didn’t like the way they finished behind the curtain. Len says he is frustrated because she is not giving this competition the same effort that she gives to her soccer career. Hope gets a score of 24.
Rob Kardashian is up next with a Paso Doble to the theme from “Superman.” Rob says he is a lot like Clark Kent in that he is a little shy but “no so nerdy like Clark is.” Nerds are cool Rob, don’t forget that! Bruno says he need to use the stage more and Carrie Ann thinks it was great. Rob is given a 24.
Ricki Lake is next up with her “Psycho Tango.” Will she be able to keep the top spot this week? They start out and finish behind a white curtain meant to resemble a shower curtain. Len has nothing but compliments for her. Bruno must have stained his chair he is so excited about this Tango. her score is 29 with Len only giving them a 9.
Chaz Bono is up next with a Paso Doble to the theme from Rocky. Chaz really needs to step it up here as he was the worst dancer last week and was only saved by his fans. At the start, he looked like he was doing the “robot” for a minute. Bruno says he “keeps fighting and getting stronger” and Carrie Ann is in tears. Chaz comes back this week with a score of 21.
J.R. Martinez comes out tonight as the final dancer. He is doing a Fox Trot to the theme from “The Pink Panther”. JR is poised and graceful once again but this dance didn’t have the “WOW” factor we have seen from him in the past weeks. Carrie Ann says this was technically great but not as good as his other performances. JR gets a 26.

So now it is up to America to vote and decide who is going home this week on DWTS. Check back tomorrow for our live coverage of Dancing With The Stars season 13 results show.

Chaz is unsettling to look at when he/she dances. I was afraid that the frightened look on his face was going to turn to pain, he’d clutch his heart, then tumble down those stairs and land in a heap at the bottom. If he split his pants on the way down, the world would have seen the nightmare of his nether regions. See what I mean about unsettling? Downright scary!
Vote for Chaz, however. We need to award the mirror ball to a monster and teach everyone a lesson about political correctness.

I think J.R was the best tonight, I have to give him extra credit because unlike Ricki he has no dancing experience. I wonder if the ABC family has something in store for Ricki after the competition.
