Survivor South Pacific started off tonight with another Redemption Island competition that pitted Christine against Stacey and Stacey is eliminated. The immunity challenge is a nasty one tonight where the Tribes have to pull meat off a big stick with their moths and fill up a basket with the pieces. Upolu wins the competition and and will have to vote off someone. Everybody has problems with their teeth and gums from the challenge, except Cochran, who really didn’t eat too much. In surprise twist, the votes are split between Cochran, Elyse, and Dawn with one vote remaining. The final vote is for Elyse and Ozzie is shocked. Bill had construed a plan to get rid of Elyse to keep Ozzie’s power limited and it worked. With just 6 members left on the team, there is some confusion. As we see the votes during the credits, we know that Dawn, Bill, and Cochran voted to eliminate Elyse. Can Ozzie hold down control of the Tribe? Will Christine continue to rule Redemption Island?
