Apple Customers Flooding Forum With Complaints on iOS 5 Upgrade

UPDATE 10/13: finally got the upgrade to go through after a grueling process of resetting my iPad 2. It took two tries, but finally it is working now. Reports on the web are confirming that Apple’s servers are overwhelmed. I would suggest waiting a day or two, until the fever dies down a bit, before upgrading to iOS 5. Especially if you are not that technically inclined. Seems Apple is having a lot of problems with users upgrading to the iOS 5 and the forums are full of posts from unhappy iPhone and iPad owners. Survivor South Pacific 10/12: Who Was Eliminated And Who Can Eat Meat?

Survivor South Pacific started off tonight with another Redemption Island competition that pitted Christine against Stacey and Stacey is eliminated. The immunity challenge is a nasty one tonight where the Tribes have to pull meat off a big stick with their moths and fill up a basket with the pieces. Upolu wins the competition and and will have to vote off someone. Everybody has problems with their teeth and gums from the challenge, except Cochran, who really didn’t eat too much. Biggest Loser 10/11: Who Is Eliminated Tonight?

The Biggest Loser got a visit this week from three past contestants Hannah Curlee, Marci Crozier, and Adam Hurtado to help spur them on to more weight loss. Courtney worked on some basketball training and was shown how she could transfer her “competitive spirit” to the gym when she goes to work out. She tends to give up easily unless she is challenged by someone face to face but gives up easily when she is alone. Dancing With The Stars had Cher routing on her son Chaz Bono last night and he delivered his  best dance of the competition so far. Carson Kressley  had the worst score of the night but is only one point behind Chaz Bono, Nancy Grace, and surprisingly, Chynna Phillips, who all scored only 21 points. Chynna was definitely off last night with he Tango and it could put her in jeopardy tonight. Will Chaz Bono’s fan base pull him through another week? Can Carson Kressley survive to dance another day? Sing Off Results 10/10: One Group Goes Home And Deserves It

The Sing Off got off to another great start with a complicated number tonight with all the contestants performing “Rhythm of Love” in near perfect harmony. All the groups stepped up their game tonight but there were some obvious mistakes in the lot. The groups had to perform a “contemporary” number and also a song from the 60′s. First up was the Deltones and they did “Edge of Glory” and “Can’t Hurry Love”. “Edge of Glory” was pretty good but this song doesn’t go well in an “a capella” type format.
