Survivor South Pacific took a break last week and tonight we get back to the action and rivalry that could mean a Coach and Ozzy show down. The show opens with coach having to defend Cochran but it looks like he is going to go up for elimination unless he miraculously wins immunity.
Ozzy, Dawn, and Whitney are fighting it out on Redemption Island and they have to balance plates and dishes on a stick. Dawn is the first to drop hers and we are up to 13 plates and Whitney goes down. Ozzy stays on Redemption Island to fight another day.
Back on the island everybody is hating on Prince Albert and Edna gets in a little tiff with him. She is just basically mad because she knows she is next after Cochran on the short list to go home.
The immunity challenge is next and it is where the contestants have to land bean bags on a target and then use coconuts to take down targets with a sling shot. The top three will advance at a chance of immunity. Albert is first to advance on. Rick is second to finish the first part. Sophie is the third. Albert, Sophie and Rick now launch coconuts at three targets. First one to hit all three targets wins immunity and a spa treatment. Albert and Rick jump ahead of Sophie. Albert wins immunity. Albert gives away his reward to Cochran and picks Coach to share also.
Coach and Cochran get their massage and he tells Cochran that he will fight for him. Now Cochran is talking to Albert about getting rid of Rick instead of him. Albert acts like he is on board. He also gets Edna on board with the plan. He pitches the plan to Coach about eliminating Rick. Coach now has a big decision.
At the Tribal Council, Brandon break down into fake tears after he tells the world who he is voting to eliminate now and the next time. Everyone is laughing under their breath. The votes are in and it is Cochran that is voted off. So who didn’t go along with the plan? We don’t know but it was either Albert or Coach. Next week, Ozzie will have an easy win on Redemption Island.
