X Factor USA 12-1: Live Blogging The Second Double Elimination

X Factor USA double eliminations continue this week and two more acts will be heading home tonight. Rachel Crow could be under the gun here due to her very lackluster performance last night. Will Josh Krajcik ever do something that anyone can criticize? Josh has been the Rock in the show and has been consistent and powerful every week. Drew gave us more elevator music again last night but it was good, even though it was really slow again. She definitely has a career in helping people go to sleep she when finishes this show. Astro gave another stellar performance last night and this kid is a lyrical genius. He does seem to be somewhat of a “one trick pony” though and he is starting to sound the same to us each week. Not saying that is a bad thing but it could hurt him in the competition. Tonight, the special guest is Tinie Tempah is the musical guest. The show starts at 8pm eastern time on FOX. If you can’t watch it live be sure to keep coming back here as we are live blogging the X Factor USA results show for 12-1.

The show opens with all the acts doing Michael Jackson’s “Man in the Mirror”. We get videos in the background of Michael with his kids.
The recap is next showing us clips of what happened last night and everybody thanking the Jackson Family for being there.
We are going straight into the results and the first act to go on is Chris Rene. Next to go on is Melanie Amaro. Rachel Crow is safe to go on.

OK Tinie Tempah takes the stage. Rap isn’t my favorite genre but this guy is energetic.

Now we have Drew, Josh, Astro, and Marcus on stage.
Josh Krajcik is going through to next week.

The first act eliminated is Astro! Astro is going home and now Drew and Marcus will have a sing off!

Drew is up first and she is singing “Listen to your Heart” and in true Drew fashion it is slooooooow!
Marcus Canty slows it down too with “Neither One Of Us”. It’s a slow song battle for survival!

Judges voting time and LA sends home Drew. Simon sends home Marcus. Nicole sends home Drew. Paula sends home Drew.

Drew is eliminated and breaks down in tears. Marcus is safe for another week.

    American Idol should have taught them the valuable lessons of disrespecting those in authority. I’m not surprised Drew and Astro is GONE and if little Rachael is not careful she is NEXT. It was Simon’s fault or anyone else who justifies and condones such actions, regardless of how they sound. I always KNOW that those kind will NEVER win. Check out American Idol. The back talkers ALWAYS lose or go home sooner or later.
    It’s OK to be able to express yourself but it is called wisdom and respect something the parents are NOT teaching in the homes ANYMORE and why our world has turned out to be as it is today.
