The madness that is Modern Family continues this week with a Christmas episode. When the family is gathered around Jay’s pool, they all suddenly realize that they won’t be spending Christmas day together. Phil crazily suggests an “Express Christmas” where they all decide to hold a Christmas get-together right then and there, and they only have a couple of hours to get it all together!

Luke can’t tell the difference when Gloria says his name! Gloria: “Luke, look!” Luke: “Look? Look?” Funny bit right there.

Cameron gives Jay a gift. Jay can’t accept: “A man doesn’t give a man a gift.” It’s a token of Cameron and Jay’s sharing a first bottle of wine.

Claire and Haley rush off to the mall to shop for all the gifts. Haley dresses as mall employee to get the last piece of a hard to find gift.

Phil and Manny end of up at the back an alley to close a shady deal, but Manny ends up tasering Phil!

Mitchell and Alex go off to get the tree, but on a almost roadside accident, the tree flies off the roof of their car as it gets driven over by an 18-wheeler. There goes the tree!

The family reunites at the Dunphy residence for more craziness.

There’s no turkey. There’s no tree. It’s all a big mess, and everyone decides to ditch the whole “Express Christmas” gathering. But Jay has an awesome surprise for the family waiting out the door.

In the final bit, Jay gets his toy dog antlers. Phil and Cameron have an awkward moment together has they try to prevent their broken tree from falling down. Hilarious!
