Fear Factor is back after a long hiatus from TV and it starts out with a BANG! The first stunt is an explosive mix where teams have to be airlifted by helicopter to a box. They open the wooden crate and pull a lever that sets a truck rolling toward a demolition sight. They have to jump on the back of the truck and open barrels to get flags out before the helicopter whisks them away before the explosion. Alex and Amanda start it off and they get 7 flags. Mateus and Monica are next and they get 6 flags. Anthony Sr. and Jr. take to the helicopter and it is straining with these guys because they are big! They get 6 flags but take longer so they are in jeopardy. Natalie and Olivia are next. They can’t get the box open. They only get 5 flags and are eliminated.

The second stunt is where the teams have to dive into a tank of sludge to get a can of scorpions and then they each have to eat 5 of them. Anthony Jr. and Sr. are first and Jr. dives in and has trouble getting the container. They take off the bolts to release the scorpions. Ohh, they are gagging trying to eat these things. Their time is 7 minutes 15 seconds. Monica and Mateus are next. They start faster but take longer on getting the bolts off. They dive right in and are getting into it. They finish in 4 minutes and 6 seconds and are in the final. Alex and Amanda are next. Amanda has trouble but Alex is going for it. They finish in 3 minutes and 39 seconds. Anthony JR. and SR. are eliminated.

The final challenge is where they have to grab flags while strapped to the front of a cement truck. The truck will be crashing through the obstacles. Monica and Mateus are first. They are strapped on the front of the truck. At they are getting pounded. They get 22 flags and Monica is bleeding from a hit in the face. Alex and Amanda prove their dominance once again and get 23 flags. Alex and Amanda are the first winners of the new season of Fear Factor.
