Survivor South Pacific will crown a winner tonight and we are live blogging the show so you will get all the latest results as they happen. Please be sure to keep refreshing your browser or checking back here after 8pm when the show starts. Tonight is going to be fast paced and there is still a lot of drama to come as we get the Ozzy and Brandon showdown on Redemption Island. The winner of that showdown will rejoin the final four on the main island. There will be two back to back immunity challenges and two eliminations to get us to the final three. Right now, we have Albert, Coach, Rick, and Sophie on the main island and Ozzy and Brandon on Redemption Island. One of these five players will win Survivor South Pacific tonight!
The show is delayed because the NFL game ran long. Keep checking here and we will start our recap as soon as the show starts.
OK, the show is finally starting so here we go!
We start with Redemption Island and see Brandon arriving and greeting Ozzy. He talks of how Coach stabbed him in the back. Ozzy thinks he is stupid for this but doesn’t tell him that. Then we get to see the conversation on the main island and how these guys are confronting Albert acting like he is clueless. Coach confronts him and tells him he is cut off because he is lying.
Now we get to the final duel between Ozzy and Brandon. The challenge is to hold on to a pole as long as they can. They both climb up and are hugging the pole. After over 40 minutes both of them are hanging by a thread. Brandon starts sliding. Brandon falls and Ozzy will return to the game!
Back at the island we see Coach trying to “snow” Ozzy by saying he will give him an immunity idol if he wins a challenge to keep him in the game. Ozzy ain’t buying it!
The first immunity challenge is to hold a balancing board with one hand while building a house of cards with the other. They start out and everybody is slowly going ahead with their stack of cards. Well, they are more like thin blocks than cards. Sophie runs out of pieces and has to start over. Coach loses his house when they fall but Ozzy is in the lead. Ozzy has to start over when he runs out of pieces. This is hard because the table keeps moving. Ozzy finally gets it right and wins immunity!

Ozzy is smugly swimming and enjoying watching the old Upolu members have to get rid of one of their own. Coach and Albert decide to get rid of Rick. Ozzy talks to Albert about Sophie. Rick talks to Coach and he knows Coach is going to get rid of him even though he says he is not.
Edna says the final three duped them all and they only have themselves to blame.

At the Tribal Council, we here lots of arguing and Sophie breaks down in tears. The votes come in and Rick is eliminated and takes his place in the jury.

The next day, we see Ozzy getting really confident. The others are hating on him. Coach talks to him and says he lied to him. He doesn’t like that Ozzy told everyone about their deal. Coach seems to think the world revolves around him. Ozzy says he is out for Ozzy and no one else because he has been betrayed too many times. Coach plays his game again and tried to make it seem he is with Ozzy. But is he really?

The final immunity challenge is a race through and obstacle course while collecting puzzle pieces. First one to get through and complete the puzzle wins immunity and is guaranteed to be in the final three. This is close and Albert and Ozzy are in the lead. Sophie is way behind with only two bags. Ozzy has three and is going for the fourth. Ozzy is in the lead. Sophie and Albert keep getting in each others way. Sophie has almost caught up. Ozzy and coach are trying to get the puzzle now but Sophie is there and now starts. All contestants are now on the puzzle. Sophie has taken the lead with three pieces in the puzzle. She is stomping the guys here. Coach and Albert have not even got one piece yet. Sophie makes the play and wins immunity! Looks like Ozzy is in trouble now!

Coach, Albert, and Sophie are celebrating and he knows his time is up here. Coach talks to Ozzy and says he is now battling against his word. Coach knows he is getting rid of Ozzy and he keeps blowing smoke up Ozzy’s rear end. Coach either betrays his original Tribe members or Ozzy. Either way he goes, he breaks his word to someone.

At the Tribal Council, Ozzy makes his pitch and the voting starts. Albert votes for Ozzy. Sophie votes for Ozzy. Ozzy is voted out of the competition and he goes to the jury.

The last day, they get a surprise with a huge basket of food for breakfast. The last Coach talk is to Sophie comes around and he is pumping her and trying to build her up over Albert. Albert talks to Sophie trying to see what is on Coach’s mind. Sophie keeps it close to her vest.

At the Final Tribal Council, the jury is introduced. It is now up to the jury to decide the winner. Each one gets to plead their case and the jury can react. Albert is first and he talks about how he has met a lot of great people here and thanks the jury. Sophie says she has held her own and played the game the best she could. She admits her mistakes in the past. Coach says he deserves the title because he has had an uphill battle but he has played this game with honor. Now the questions from the jury.
Ozzy starts it off by saying no one in the jury wants to vote for anyone in the final three and he asks Coach if he was really honest in the game or did he just use honor as a line on everybody. Coach admits he was dishonest at times.
Jim asks Albert why the other two deserve to be there. Albert give a line of bull.
Dawn asks Sophie why she made the alliance with Coach. She says Coach was honest with her. She says Albert is here because she thinks she could beat him.
Rick asks Coach what he has to say to him. Coach apologizes. He rips Albert a big one over Brandon. He tells Sophie she lied the whole way and he leaves.
Brandon asks Coach why he voted him out after promising not to. Coach gives him a line. He forgives Coach.

Now the votes come down. We go to Las Vegas for the tally. Here we go! First vote is for Coach. Second vote is for Sophie. It’s tied 3 to 3 and Sophie takes the lead and Wins.

Sophie has won $1,000,000 dollars on Survivor South Pacific!

coach was a weak minded semi manipulating idiot……………………. nor was he a christian nor does he have a concept of how a christian is to behave………………

  3. rwallace says:

Coach is a coward. To eliminate Ozzie at the finale just shows his fear of the competition. The only true contest is between Coach and Ozzie. You really disappointed me Coach.

Coach has no honor . He basically lied to everyone. I wish Ozzy had pushed more in the final Tribal Council about Coach promising to take Ozzy to the final 3. He never would have voted for Albert because he new Ozzy would win if in the final 3. Why Albert ever shared with Coach at the beginning the hidden immunity clue was a huge mistake. Coach would NEVER have given his hidden immunity idol to anyone. He was all about himself and the money. All the God talk just reinforces how many hypocrites use religion as a way to the path of their own financial / personal gain. Sophie had no personality – no charm , but I rather that she won than Coach. He is such a joke, but truly is delusional.

I so wanted ozzy to win and be in the last 3, and he hit the nail on the head when he said that nobody wants any of the three to win
