The 69th Golden Globe Awards

Ricky Gervais is at it again for tonight's big awards show.

It’s the 69th Golden Globe Awards tonight, and Nerdles is going live with the latest updates on tonight’s happenings. Ricky Gervais, creator of The Office, is back at it again hosting tonight’s award show. I love this guy, and I can’t wait to hear what crazy, brutally honest and offensive thing will come out of his mouth while he hosts. So be sure to bookmark this site now. We won’t give you a long wordy play-by-play here. Here at Nerdles, we just give you the good stuff without all the fluff.

Let’s get straight to the winners, shall we? Here they are as they’re announced live:

Dressed in relaxed formal attire, Ricky Gervais' antics also seem more safe and relaxed compared to last year. Playing it safe(er), maybe? Too bad.

That’s it ladies and gents for this year’s Golden Globe Awards. Finally. It was quite a lengthy show, but we at Nerdles hope you’ve enjoyed it much as we did.

For me, in a nutshell, 1) Ricky Gervais played it safe compared to his gig as last year’s host of the show (or maybe because I just expected him to burn some people this time while last year was a total but pleasant shock), and 2) I was totally disappointed by the television show nominees (doesn’t the HFPA watch real television? For example, why wasn’t “Community” nominated, but “New Girl” was? Come on!).

Tell us what you guys thought of the results and the show down below in the comments!
