UFC ON FUEL TV 4: MUNOZ VS WEIDMAN WEIGH-INS COVERAGE

UFC on Fuel TV 4: Munoz Vs Weidman 7/10/12 Weigh-Ins Live Streaming & Results

Middleweight contenders Mark “The Filipino Wrecking Machine” Munoz and Chris “All-American” Weidman will be stepping on the weighing scales prior to their main event match at UFC on Fuel TV 4 on July the 11th, Wednesday.

Though this match has no immediate title contention status up for grabs, this will be a very interesting match-up between powerful pro-wrestlers who have toppled top-level fighters like Damian Maia and Chris Leben to name some. A key win (plus an outstanding performance and finish to the fight) may, however, catapult their fame and have the fans clamor their names for a title shot (as in some cases happens unless the UFC addresses the rally of the fans).

While both have the iron will and equivalent toolset to overthrow the other, it will boil down to who can pull the trigger first for the win.

Will it be the “Donkey Punches” who will dominate the ground and pound aspect of this match? Or will “The All-American” lure his opponent for a potential submission? Will the winner be deemed a potential threat to the undefeated middleweight champion in Anderson Silva?

We’ll find out the answers come Wednesday on Fuel TV.

Also on the card, we’ll get to welcome back Joey Beltran who returns to the UFC as a light-heavyweight competitor and will test these new waters by derailing big man, James Te-Huna.

Another fighter who joins the bandwagon of dropping weight classes is world-class wrestler, Aaron Simpson who confronts a younger wrestler version of himself in Kenny Robertson.

The weigh-ins takes place at the HP Pavillion in San Jose, California on July 10, 2012 (Tuesday) at 7PM ET / 4PM PT. Keep it here as Nerdles gives you the results as they happen! Let’s get it on MMA nerds!

(Updated as of 6:04AM ET / 3:04PM PT, July 11, 2012)

All fighters stepped on the scale and made the weight cut heading towards free-fight-day Wednesday.

The four fighters involved in the last two fights for tonight’s event on Fuel TV walked to the staredown against their respective opponents with pretty much no animosity towards each other. Munoz and Weidman posed as if they were back in their collegiate days in wrestling; Te-Huna and Beltran smiled and laughed.
