The Ellen Degeneres Show Rerun: Wanda Sykes Talks About “Ice Age: Continental Drift”

Ellen AND Wanda Sykes? That’s too much of funny right there. This episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show is a rerun from last April 19. Checilk out the Nerdles recap for the full coverage of the episode.

On the show, Ellen calls up one of her many fans, Amanda, to live Tweet the show so Amanda can get more followers. As Amanda live Tweets this episode of Ellen, she ends up with a few hundred more Twitter followers by the end of the day. Also, Ellen talks about her unusual hi-five style of giving hi-fives (this was really funny), and she gives a few Band-Aid products some testing by having her assistant Andy decked out in Band-Aids all over his body and having pies thrown at him. Other than his ego, Andy wounds seem fine and are well protected by Band-Aid.

Wanda Sykes shares her story about travelling to Australia, and experiences with wild dingos. As Ellen and Wanda talk about their travels, they notice that their conversation is heading in a direction that might be offensive to the countries they’ve visited. They’re right, but in a sarcastically funny way. They also talk about her latest film “Ice Age: Continental Drift” which will be released nationwide tomorrow, July 13.

Bon Iver, Best New Artist, performs their latest single. At the end of the show, Ellen wraps things up by helping a family in need go on a well-deserved family trip to Miami. But while the family is in Miami, Ellen has one more surprise for them – she’s sent a company over to their home in Pennsylvania to renovate their kitchen!
