MTV’s 2012 VMA Nominees: Drake vs. Gotye vs. Katy Perry vs. M.I.A. vs. Rihanna for Video of the Year

Remember, remember the sixth of September. That’s when music’s stars get to shine and compete to take home their very on Moon Man for MTV’s annual Video Music Awards. 2012′s VMAs will be seeing some very interesting competition in some of the categories. The full list of nominees for each of the categories are listed below, so check out the battles in each of them.

Take for example the Video of the Year category. We have former lovers Drake and Rihanna going head to head. In fact, Rihanna has the best chances of winning in that category as she’s nominated for both her own song and being featured in Drake’s song. For Best Male Video, mentor Usher dukes it out with his padawan Justin Bieber. Who will win? We’ll find out the sixth of September.
