Dr. Oz-Approved Appetite Suppressant: 5-HTP

Dr. Oz-Approved Appetite Suppressant: 5-HTP (1/31/13)

5-HTP is a natural appetite suppressant that increases the serotonin in the brain, which can lead to a 10-pound weight loss in 12 weeks. An off-label use of Botox is making the stomach feel full, leading to weight loss of 20 to 30 pounds in 6 months. Porn-induced erectile dysfunction (ED) can be fixed in four weeks, by abstention from masturbation, touching each other naked and using female-friendly porn.

Pina LoGiudice, ND, Co-Medical Director, Inner Source Natural Health, Bariatic Physician Denise Bruner, MD and Dr. Tasneem Bathia, MD, Atlanta Center for Holistic and Integrative Medicine, agree that 5-HTP is a natural appetite suppressant that increases the serotonin in the brain, makes you sleep and eat better. You can lose 12 pounds in 10 weeks. A woman who took it and lost weight with it said that after three weeks, she was eating the right food, yogurt versus donuts, eating less per meal and more frequently. Even though it’s an OTC (over the counter) product, Dr. Bruner suggests that you check with your doctor first before taking it, especially if you’re taking SSRI or MAOI medication. Make sure that you’re getting pure 5-HTP or Griffonia Simplicifonia, without fillers, binders or additives.

Botox injected in the stomach using an endoscope, makes it contract more slowly, giving the stomach a full feeling. This is still cutting-edge, done by some gastroenterologists, on patients who are only 20 to 30 pounds overweight. The patient loses 20 to 30 pounds in 4 to 6 months.

Porn sets the bar high, making men incapable of enjoying their partners. What is too much porn? Is it affecting your life? It doesn’t matter whether you watch porn for five minutes or two hours a day. What matters is if you’re getting red slips at work, or you find your partner attractive but is not aroused by her.

A wife says that she has no problems with her husband watching porn, but that his desire for her has waned. He watches porn twice or thrice a week. Sexuality Counselor Ian Kerner, PhD says that the problem can be fixed in four weeks. A urologist recommends abstention from masturbation for four weeks. Kerner advises googling “female-friendly porn,” which features more realistic love-making. Psychiatrist Sue Varma, MD, suggests touching each other naked for 5, building up to 15 minutes, which doesn’t have to be a prelude to sex.

Yes, it does have psychological effects. You feel good, so you eat less. Well, I eat to feel good haha.

  2. mark says:

5-HTP also helps with anxiety and depression

    • Amity Young says:

Web MD does say that 5-HTP increases the synthesis of serotonin, so it is used for the same diseases that serotonin is believed to treat, like depression, insomnia and obesity.
