Marvel Announce Captain America: The First Avenger Comic Book Tie-in
Marvel comics have announced the release of a new eight-part digital comic book series that will serve as a prequel to their upcoming superhero spectacular Captain America: The First Avenger. The eight-part series has been written by Fred Van Lente while the artwork has been provided by Luke Ross, Neil Edwards and Richard Isanove. It will be called Captain America: First Vengeance and will be available for download, for FREE, on Sunday which coincides with the first movie trailer which is scheduled to debut during the Super Bowl match between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Green Bay Packers. Joss Whedon Admits Writing Avengers Script Is Tough
Buffy the Vampire Slayer creator Joss Whedon has admitted that working on the script for the upcoming superhero movie The Avengers is proving difficult as Marvel have placed enormous stipulations on the project. Ghost Rider Gearing Up For Romanian Shoot
It seems that the Ghost Rider sequel is gearing up for production. Expected to begin filming this fall in Romania, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance will once again see Nicolas Cage reprise the role of Johnny Blaze. Interestingly, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance will be the first major Hollywood movie since 2002’s Cold Mountain to be shot in Romania.
