NeNe & Tony (leftmost in photo) leave Dancing with the Stars’ Latin night with Ricky Martin. Her team also lost the team dance to, as usual, Derek Hough/Meryl’s group. Amy was brought to the hospital for her back injury, and could not do her team dance live. The judges based their scores on the dress rehearsal recording. The Voice Recap: Kat Perkins, Sisaundra Lewis Capture Depth of Iconic Hits (4/28/14)

As we headed into the Top 10 performances on The Voice tonight, two facets made it clear that the show is extremely committed to being the venue for breeding artisty rather than marketing strategy. For one, the mentors called in the big guns with their guest mentors, featuring legendary singer Graham Nash (Team Adam), music producers Busbee and Scott Hendricks (Teams Shakira and Blake, respectively) and musical director Natural (Team Usher). Judge Judy Sheindlin dismisses Jeannette (photo) & Michael Kelly‘s $5,000 suit against David Kennedy and his mom for lost income. Jeannette had invested $135 into a “legal pyramid scheme”. The judge also dismisses Angela Fishe’s $2,699 suit against ex-live in boyfriend Michael Cuffie for a destroyed laptop. He denied destroying the laptop and there was no proof that he did. Mark Cuban proved to be one crafty investor on Shark Tank when he pulled his bag of tricks and stopped what could have been a home-runner for a Robert Herjavec-Kevin O’Leary partnership. The deal with Bradford Scudder and Rob Dickens (photo in this recap), the men behind Rugged Maniac and The Great Bull Run events, consisted of a $1.75 million investment for a combined 25% stake in two companies.
