Hugo Review: A Classically Magical Family Film

As highly-acclaimed director Martin Scorsese’s first film shot for all ages, Scorsese also bears the heavy task of turning yet another book into life on the big screen. The film Hugo revolves around its title character (Asa Butterfield) who has it pretty rough as a kid on the equally rough streets (and train stations) of early Paris. An orphan, Hugo must fend for himself after the sudden disappearance of his cranky Uncle Claude (Ray Winstone).
