Griff

Griff is the lead headline writer for Nerdles.com.

Born in Wales, Griff has found himself in his early thirties and wonders how he got there.

His favorite game of this generation is Little Big Planet though he has a soft spot for Batman: Arkham Asylum which is the only game in which he cried like a baby throughout the end credits, and not because the story’s climax was upsetting, no, it was more to do with the knowledge that he’s gonna have to wait for two years before he gets to be Batman again.

Sock

Sock loves everything sci-fi, except of course the prequel trilogy.

A firm believer in the Han Shoots First movement, Sock believes that George Lucas not only ruined his childhood with the prequel trilogy but that he’s been abused by the beardered one in some way and is seriously thinking about calling childline.

Sock throws the occasional article over to Nerdles.com whenever he stumbles upon something interesting on the net that’s not porn-related.

If you were to ask Sock what his favorite game of this generation is, he will happily reply Halo 3. He just loves shooting 14-year old griefers.

Lance

Lance likes to shoot people in the face.

And when he’s not shooting people in the face he can be found stomping the grounds of Modern Warfare 2 online.

Known by friends as something of an eccentric, Lance hasn’t left his flat in years and will continue to live amongst mountains of pizza boxes and excrement until there’s reason to go out.

Quite predictably, Lance considers Modern Warfare 2 to be his favorite game of this generation.

Jay

Jay is painfully thin. He’s one of those people who “forget” to eat. Indeed, if he were any thinner he’d have to be placed on a drip. A total Star Trek fanatic, Jay is perhaps the nerdiest of all the Nerdles staff writers.

Sometimes, when he is alone (which by his own admission is a lot of the time) he is prone to dress up in his Star Trek uniform and run about his house “zapping” imaginary foes with his phaser-styled remote control.

His favorite game of this generation is Uncharted 2.

Darren Avery

Darren Avery is our TV guy. In a nutshell, he is the Charlie Brooker of Nerdles.com.

Famed for his insulting insights, Mr. Avery prides himself on his cutting wit and cruel charm, though if you’re a chick, he can keep both of those traits in check; unless of course you refuse his advances…

Chris Ford
